As our communities grow and living spaces become smaller, many families face difficulties in carrying out the sacred rites for their loved ones after death. A dedicated facility is needed where the deceased can be prepared with dignity, care, and according to Islamic traditions.

The Santhwanam Centre will provide a clean, well-equipped, and peaceful facility for performing the final rites of the deceased, including Ghusl (ritual washing), Kafan (shrouding), and other preparations required before the Janazah. Located near the mosque, it will ensure these sacred duties are carried out with respect, privacy, and dignity.

The centre will be operated by trained volunteers under the guidance of the mosque, ensuring that every deceased Muslim is prepared according to Islamic teachings. The facility will be available whenever needed and maintained through the generous support of the community, serving families with compassion during their most difficult moments.
